Step into one of the Loire Valley’s most iconic castles—Chenonceau. Known as the “Ladies’ Castle,” it spans the Cher River and offers a deep dive into a period of French history that was shaped by powerful women.
Getting started
Arrive at Chenonceau and present your pre-booked ticket at the entrance in exchange for a timed-stamped entry ticket. Expect a brief security check before entering the castle grounds.
What to expect
Chenonceau Castle is a masterpiece of French Renaissance architecture built over the Cher River, known as the Ladies’ Castle for its female patrons. Wander through the chateau at your own pace, discovering rooms once occupied by queens and noblewomen.
