Guiden (er) och busschauffören var alla bra! Chambord var helt fantastiskt, även om själva slottet mestadels är tomt, med undantag för faux hjorthuvuden som representerar Francis I: s historia och jaktförmåga, moderna konstinstallationer och en reproduktion av teatern; det låter dig fokusera på själva byggnaden. Amboise var väldigt coolt, mycket mindre och mer hemtrevligt, med mer i vägen för historiskt berättande i utställningarna jämfört med Chambord, och några exceptionella vyer över Loire; men staden kan vara ännu bättre än slottet. Du kommer inte att bli uttråkad om du hoppar över slottsturen. Personligen var Orléans den enda del jag kunde ha klarat mig utan. Besöket i Orléans fokuserade på två platser: katedralen och Jeanne d'Arcs "hem". Även om jag tyckte att budskapet med besöket var bra, kändes det också överväldigande och stressigt efter en så lång dag. Bilderna är alla från Chambord

Bekvämt att boka alla biljetter. Förvånad över att Chambord måste betala extra avgifter för ljudguideenheten men Amboise inga avgifter krävs för guideenheten. Skulle ha varit bättre om guidenheten ingår för alla biljetter

Getting There
By Car:
It is about 2 hours and 15 minutes drive from the center of Paris to Amboise.
By Train:
It is a 2.5- to 3-hour journey to travel by train from Paris to the Royal Castle of Amboise. Please note that it is a 17-minute walk from the train station (Gare d’Amboise) to the castle.
Validity
Your Royal Castle of Amboise Priority Entrance ticket is only valid for the date that is selected while booking.
