Att besöka Doge's Palace var en underbar upplevelse. Att utforska de olika rummen och se alla invecklade detaljer och artefakter inne i palatset var verkligen fascinerande. En av höjdpunkterna var att se den största målningen på väggen - den var helt fantastisk. Ord kan inte helt fånga palatsets skönhet och storhet.

Mycket trevligt besök, mycket praktisk tillgång till biljettklippning. Vi möttes på Piazza San Marco med en korrespondent som gav oss de fysiska biljetterna. Den enda nackdelen var att inträdet till Pala d'Oro inte ingick i priset. Det var inte särskilt tydligt när jag fick biljetterna från webbplatsen. Vi kunde ändå få biljetter till basilikan.

Det var häpnadsväckande att se insidan av palatset med målningar, artefakter, rustningar och vapen. Höjdpunkten var att gå över Suckarnas bro och sedan in i fängelset. Om du är i Venedig är det ett måste se.

Det var inte tydligt hur man fick tillgång till de särskilda förmånerna som områden och turer. Det fanns platser som jag trodde att jag kunde komma till men som jag inte hade tillgång till, till exempel Doge's lägenheter och fängelserna. Allt detta måste vara tydligt när schemat/priserna/avgifterna finns på webbplatsen.
