Besöket i parlamentet var mycket välorganiserat. Gellért termalbad vackert även om skyltarna inte var så tydliga inne i badet.

Vi har fått armband för tillgång till skåp. De är smala och fästa så om det finns människor kan du inte ens öppna dem lätt 'fler skåp kan göras tillgängliga i de olika områdena i det blå armbandet . Tillräcklig renlighet

Personalen verkade blasé (i receptionen och vid försäljning av badmössor): inte särskilt glad, inte särskilt tålmodig... inte särskilt välkomnande för turister, vilket är synd Vi provade 4 olika bad, men bortsett från temperaturskillnaderna fanns det inget riktigt slående med dem. Vi njöt av en avkopplande förmiddag på Gellert Spa. Eftersom våra biljetter redan var bokade i förväg gick det mycket smidigt att komma in. Vi tyckte att det var mycket bekvämt att ha vår egen privata hytt, där vi kunde lämna våra tillhörigheter och ha tillgång till dem hela tiden. Vi blev vänligt eskorterade till vår stuga av personalen. Själva spa-anläggningen var underbar att vara i. Det var lugnt och vi hade en fantastisk tid att koppla av. Rekommenderas varmt!

Plan a spa day at the prestigious Gellert Thermal Baths, one of the most prestigious spas in Budapest and the rest of Europe since 1918. Often referred to as the ‘Palace of Baths’, for centuries these thermal waters were used for relaxation and treatment purposes. Soak up the exquisite art-nouveau architecture that is made up of turquoise and marine-green Zsolnay mosaics and ceramics, neo-classical cherub statues, and botanical friezes.

With a number of different pools including thermal pools, swimming pools, and an outdoor thermal bath – Gellert is truly a place to indulge all your senses. Many of the pools have underwater jets for aqua massage therapy and are filled with natural spring water. Check out the different massages available – many are quick and refreshing – and spend some time in the sauna.

What to bring

Bring a sun hat and sunscreen for warmer days.

A swimming cap is required in the swimming pool but not in the other thermal pools.

Food and drinks can be purchased on-site.

Pregnant guests must consult their doctor before visiting. Massages are not provided to pregnant women.

On May 1st (Labor Day in Hungary), the ticket prices are different: Ticket with cabin: 32€ and ticket with locker: 29€

Dress Code: Swimwear is compulsory attire to be worn at the spa as this is a mixed bath complex. Any decent swimwear is allowed for both men and women but burkinis are, unfortunately, not allowed.

Flip-flops are the most ideal type of footwear.

The outdoor pool (formerly the wave pool) is temporarily closed.

Cash desks close one hour before closing time.

The pool area closes at 6:40pm.

Saunas and steam chambers are open from 10am to 6pm.

Operating hours during festive seasons vary:

December 24, 2024: 9am-1pm

December 25 & 26, 2024: 10am-8pm

December 31, 2024: 9am-6pm

January 1, 2025: 10am-8pm
