Mötesplatsen var tydligt beskriven och lätt att hitta. Vår reseguide (Olga) väntade redan på plats och kunde inte förbises. Hon var mycket vänlig och lätt att förstå under turen. Vi började vid Sagrada Familia och jag var imponerad av turen och detaljerna i kyrkan. Olga var också mycket entusiastisk och du kunde berätta omedelbart. Jag skulle ha velat ha lite mer tid där, men vi var tvungna att ta en taxi till Park Guell relativt snart. Personligen skulle jag nog göra turen tvärtom nästa gång, men jag var ändå riktigt nöjd. Allt var väldigt enkelt tack vare en motiverad och välinformerad reseledare. Olga visade oss de vackraste platserna (även för foton). Jag skulle gärna göra fler turer med Olga. Besöket på Sagrada var magnifikt, men skulle verkligen dra nytta av ett längre besök, Parc Guell var mycket vackert och guiden var mycket kompetent. Transporten från det ena till det andra ingår dock utan extra kostnad, vilket redan är ganska högt.

An unfinished cathedral

At the Sagrada Familia, your tour guide will whisk you past the long ticket lines straight to the brief security check and then into the Sagrada Familia. You will see the Nativity and Passion Facades and understand the significance behind them. Inside the basilica, your guide will show you the extreme designs incorporated into the church’s construction and the finely detailed works of the beautiful stained glass windows. You will also be able to visit the Sagrada Familia Museum. It started out as a school by Antoni Gaudí for the children of construction workers building the cathedral. Today, it is a museum dedicated to the basilica and Gaudí.

A dreamy garden

At Park Güell, your guide will take you up the enigmatic staircase that marks the entrance of the park. On the other side, you will find Gaudí’s mosaic dragon waiting for you. Park Güell is arranged around a large central square with a “trencadís” bench that snakes around it. With varying colors and curved lines, this is an urban retreat unlike any other, perfectly portraying Gaudí’s design principles.

What to bring

All participants must present a valid passport and documentation for entry to the Sagrada Familia. Without it, entry will be denied.

During the summer months, it is recommended to bring hats/caps to protect from the sun, and water for hydration due to high temperatures.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Dress modestly, cover your knees and shoulders as a nod to local sentiments. You cannot enter wearing see-through clothing, swimwear, festive attire, or designs that draw attention for religious or promotional purposes.

Hats are not allowed inside the nave or the museum except for religious, spiritual, or health-related reasons.

Entering the venue barefoot is strictly prohibited.

Festivities like picnics, loud music, birthday celebrations, weddings, or professional photo sessions are strictly prohibited inside the venue.

For visitors with mobility issues, Park Güell offers 2 free wheelchairs for hire (subject to availability).

The tourist coach car park has 3 places for guests with reduced mobility.
