Lätt att köpa biljetter, jag rekommenderar att du inte går med en grupp så att du inte rusar igenom, vi gick solo och tyckte verkligen om att ta vår tid att ta bilder och njuta av allt.

Upplevelsen var exceptionell när det gäller Quinta da Regaleira, vacker den del av trädgården som ska upptäckas med grottorna som pricken över i:et och den sagolika atmosfären. Mindre vackert var å andra sidan besöket i Pena-palatset, palatset är mycket vackert att fotografera på utsidan men jag gillade inte hur besöket inuti är organiserat: det är en evig och oändlig kö för att se två rum och man kan inte se dem ordentligt eftersom man måste fortsätta att gå eftersom det är så många människor.

Allt var fantastiskt och snabbt. Vi fick lite regn i kön för att komma in, men allt var mycket välorganiserat. Jag är glad att vi åkte. Det tar inte så lång tid att komma från parkeringen till slottets entré.

Palatset var fantastiskt med en sådan fantastisk utsikt. Bokningen på Headout var snabb och enkel och vi hade de elektroniska biljetterna på våra telefoner istället för att köa för att få biljetter på palatset.

Being a romanticist castle, The National Palace of Pena is like entering a beautiful fairy tale atop the magnificent hills of Sintra painted in yellow, purple, red, and pink colors. It is an architectural marvel and you’ll be enchanted by the stunning views of Lisbon from the second-highest vantage point on the Sintra Hills. You will come across detailed interiors influenced by Middle Eastern & baroque European cultures. The state rooms have been carefully restored to their original state as they were in 1910 to give you the real feel of the era of Romanticism. Many of the original fittings still remain in the Palace. You can end your tour by exploring the lush park of Pena, full of winding paths, pavilions, ponds, magical fountains, statues & lovely exotic plants spanning 85 hectares. You can also upgrade your ticket to include convenient round-trip transportation between the main entrance of the Park and the Palace.
** National Palace of Queluz & Gardens **
The National Palace and Gardens of Queluz dates back to the 18-century and has been home to generations of Portuguese Royal Family. Bathe in the beauty and grandeur of this lavish castle as you walk its richly decorated halls & rooms. It is often referred to as “Portuguese Versailles” due to its brilliance and architectural exuberance. It is a truly breathtaking experience and you can imagine a time of regal balls and stately dinners that took place in the majestic interiors of the Palace. The Throne Room is adorned with gold carvings, ornate mirrors and large paintings, giving you a sense of how the Portuguese royals used to live back in the day. The surrounding gardens of the royal residence, abundant with exotic vegetation & mystical waterfalls, are eagerly waiting to be discovered by you.
