Guiden var utmärkt. Han kände sitt ämne väl och svarade på direkta frågor om Sevillas katedral och Giralda-tornet som han kanske inte hade förväntat sig att veta. Att kunna hoppa över köerna (och det var mycket upptagen fram till Stilla veckan) var en riktig bonus. Katedralen och Giralda-tornet är väl värda att besöka och väl värt att betala för den snabba entrén och guiden.

Diana, vår guide, delade entusiastiskt med sig av sin kunskap om katedralen och Giralda till oss (en liten grupp på 6 personer). Hennes historiska kunskaper gav oss en bättre förståelse för platsens utveckling, utan att vara alltför lärd. Glöm framför allt inte att klättra upp till toppen av Giralda. Det är en fantastisk utsiktspunkt över Sevilla. Och framför allt, gör turen på morgonen för att undvika folkmassorna! Stort tack till henne!

The keys that were presented to Fernando by the Moorish and Jewish communities when they surrendered to him are also housed here.

As you explore the vast cathedral, make note of the side walls that are lined with chapels dedicated to the many saints and important figures associated with this cathedral. Finally, climb to the top of La Giralda, the majestic Moorish minaret that now functions as the cathedral's bell tower, and take in gorgeous views we guarantee you won't forget for years to come.

For group sizes bigger than 10 people, you will be given individual radio guide rentals to keep up with your tour guide at all times.

Children under the age of 14 must always be accompanied by an adult within the premises.

The cathedral will be closed off to visitors from Dec 4 to Dec 7, 2024 due to a congress. The tour of the cathedral will be restricted to the Eastern third of the church where a temporary exhibition called "Fons Pietatis" will be taking place. The rest of the building, the main chapel, and the Columbus Tomb will also be closed off.
