Hela paketet. Lunchen var fantastisk, med gott om variation för alla. Personalen var mycket vänlig och välkomnande. Gårdsshowen var söt, eftersom jag var en gårdsflicka för 50 udda år sedan.

Det var en härlig upplevelse att segla på sjöns grand old lady TSS Earnslaw. Utsikten var magnifik över Queenstown, bergskedjorna och Walter Peak. Vår måltid var fantastisk, Walter Peak Station homestead är vacker och personalen var alla härliga. Grundligt njöt av hela upplevelsen.

Den fyra timmar långa aktiviteten var utmärkt med kryssning över till Walers Peak i en koldriven ångbåt. Att se kolet levereras på TSS Earnslaw före ombordstigning bidrog till upplevelsen, liksom att se maskinrummet och läsa informationstavlorna. Chris skapade en avslappnad atmosfär när han sjöng och spelade gitarr på vår resa. Chris var fantastisk och förhöjde vår upplevelse med en varm och flummig känsla. Gourmet BBQ var sensationell, saftigt kött, läckra sidor och fantastiska desserter, alla rikliga. Personalen väl presenterad, vänlig och hjälpsam. Obefläckad plats med vackra trädgårdar. Bonden Cory och hans fårhund gjorde en underbar informationsshow. Höjdpunkten på vår NZ-semester och ett måste för varje resenär.

Bokningsprocessen var smärtfri och avstigningen av passagerare från Earnslaw och ombordstigningen av nya passagerare hanterades mycket effektivt. Med ett undantag tyckte vi att personalen i allmänhet var hjälpsam och vänlig. De arbetade hårt, särskilt mannen i maskinrummet som eldade i eldstäderna för pannorna. Att få tillgång till maskinrummet var en minnesvärd upplevelse och information om Earnslaw var lättillgänglig. Det som imponerade mest på oss var omsorgen om detaljerna, bland annat att personalen kom ut för att vinka välkommen till gästerna när Earnslaw närmade sig Walter Peak Station. Att mata 250 personer var ingen liten bedrift. Maten var utmärkt och det fanns gott om den. Slutligen var presentbutiken välfylld och gårdsutställningen informativ och väl presenterad. Ett koreanskt par satt bredvid oss vid middagen. Vi frågade dem vad de gillade så här långt. Mannen svarade: "Det är som i himlen!" Bättre beröm än så kan man inte få!
