Turen i sig var mycket bra, vi förstod att den måste skyndas på för att ge tid att se allt som ingick i paketet. Vårt stora missnöje, och jag kommer inte att rekommendera dig till någon, var när vi stannade vid Stonehenge och från platsen till bussen var vi tvungna att få en skåpbil för att komma tillbaka till parkeringen. Vi ställde oss i kön 30 minuter tidigare och jag vet inte vad som hände, men skåpbilen stannade ett tag och vi skulle bli sena, men av någon gudomlig nåd hade jag tagit numret till flickan som var med i gruppen och sagt åt henne att berätta för guiden vad som hände och hon väntade på oss. Vi var 10 minuter sena, inte 30, inte en timme, och om det inte hade varit för den här tjejen skulle hon ha lämnat oss mitt ute i ingenstans, utan någon transport för att komma tillbaka, utan att ens kontrollera vad som hade hänt. Vi håller helt med om att man måste lita på sina egna ben när man ska ta sig tillbaka till bussen, men i den här situationen var vi tvungna att lita på skåpbilen. Tack gode Gud att de inte lämnade oss, men jag tänkte hela tiden: tänk om de hade gjort det? Tänk om det hade varit mina föräldrar? Inget internet, inga pengar, bara kort, ingen telefon? Jag tycker att ni borde se över dessa regler eftersom turen, som skulle vara bra, var stressande, obehaglig bara att föreställa sig att hon skulle släppa av oss i 10 minuter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boarding begins at 7:30 AM from the meeting point

Important Information

Entrance to Windsor Castle and Stonehenge is already included in the price of this ticket

Viewing at Windsor Castle is restricted on Sun. On rare occasions, the State Apartments or St George's Chapel may be closed

Queen Mary's Dolls' House at Windsor Castle will be closed to visitors until further notice

Your tour starts at 8:00 AM, but boarding starts at 7:30 AM. Please arrive at the meeting point on time to avoid further delays

Your tour will end at 7:30 PM at Victoria Train station. This station is easily accessible and centrally located (Travel Zone 1)

The Semi-State Rooms are currently open until spring 2021. They usually open from autumn-spring each year

Blackout Dates

2 April 2021 - Windsor Castle is completely closed

The Semi-State Rooms are not open on days when the State Apartments are closed

St. George's Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day
