A day with Australia’s wildlife
What better way to understand Australia and its unique wildlife than visiting Sydney Zoo? Spread over 16.5 hectares, Sydney Zoo aims to introduce locals and tourists alike to animal species from all across the globe, while raising awareness of animal welfare and conservation. You can stop at the Australian exhibit to see some kangaroos, dingos, wallabies, and wombats before heading to the Asia and Africa exhibits, which house exotic species like the Sumatran Tiger, African lion, red panda, capybara, emu, spotted hyena, ostrich, and many more.
Say hello to the mammals
Step into the Aquarium exhibit, which is home to aquatic species like the barramundi, Murray cod, and bull shark along with cute little penguins and intimidating crocodiles. Wander down the leafy Primate Boulevard to say hi to primates such as the spider monkey, chimpanzee, tufted capuchin, and more. Don't forget to undertake the Bungarribee Dreaming experience where you will get to learn about First Nation culture.
