Why Watch The Phantom of the Opera

First performed in 1986, the Phantom of the Opera is one of the most popular and longest-running shows in the world. After its initial performance, it went on to win the 1986 Olivier award and the 1988 Tony award. With a score written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Charles Hart, the musical is a theatre phenomenon that continues to entertain people even today. Beneath the grand Paris Opera House lurks a shadowy figure—the Phantom—haunting its halls and secretly mentoring the young soprano Christine Daaé. As Christine’s voice soars, so does the Phantom’s obsession, drawing her into a mesmerizing yet dangerous world. Torn between her masked maestro and her devoted childhood love, Raoul, Christine’s fate unravels amidst a backdrop of chandeliers, opera, and breathtaking theatrical illusions. Will this mysterious “ghost” seduce Christine, or will she choose to be with Raoul? A breathtaking evening! The general atmosphere, the welcome, the efficiency (at the bar!) and above all the quality of the fabulous show. Costumes, staging, special effects and sets... and of course the voices, all excellent! Not to be missed.

A classic, but now a little out of date. Still, it's nice to have seen it before it ends in July.

I love Christine who kissed the phantom in the last. The scence that she came back to return the ring really made my eyes blur.

Very nice experience. Regarding ticketing, there is something to be improved: in the map of the theater, it seems there there is some column close to the seats, while there is no actual obstruction in the theater. This may have a wrong impact on the selling of some seats.
