Athens for solo travellers

Our tour guide, Maria, was fantastic whom told us great history about the 6 monasteries including the geology of the area. We visited 3 monasteries of which Varlem was the best. She was very passionate and funny. I would highly recommend this tour and having Maria as a guide.

Comfortable bus. No-one mentioned wifi on board . Was it available, I wonder? We had to get back at 19:40. I think staying another 10 minutes would have made the sunset complete. Why not give us an extra 10 minutes ? No reason really. The commentaries were minimal. So much so that few even thought of giving the guide a tip.... Anyway, a lovely site, and a lovely evening. Finally, it would have been right to mention that the excursion did not inclde the entrance ticket to the site. It is quite cheap anyway, but I was not expecting to have to queue again. The hop on hop off tours are the best way to see new cities when you arrive. There were plenty of seats, it was clean and the audio guide worked well.

Food was good, drinks as well. Just wine, soft drinks and water but it's enough if you plan is to enjoy of the view. All staff were amazing. Great service and attitude. Dj was awesome as well.

It was easy to setup from my phone at the airport and worked upon arrival at my destination. It saved me time - no need to buy a local SIM and worked during my entire trip. I could text, order a cab, look up locations on map, etc, without worrying that I would run out of data.
