Florence for art & culture lovers

Our guide was fantastic. The context and color she added to our tour was incredibly helpful for our entire Italy trip. It layed a great informational foundation and understanding of some of the Renaissance greats.

We arrived at the La Academia 15 minutes early. There was a long line of people waiting. We were whisked in immediately. Tickets really did get us front of the line. Seeing David is just incredible! An experience I will not forget.

Another great tour. Our guide was amazing unfortunately had forgotten her name but she was originally from Sicily and studied ancient history. A very small intimate group that consisted of my boyfriend and I and, a mother and daughter we had met on an earlier tour to the Academia that same day. I personally liked the very small group, as it allowed for a quick start and swift entry into the museum. Our guide was very knowledgable and there was plenty of time and room for questions that were well answered. Paintings discussed in detail as well as historical context to the time period and the artist behind them. A well timed tour that left us feeling like we had covered the important parts, and were free to do as we pleased and revisit areas we wanted to see again, at the end of the tour. Highly recommended.

Meeting place was easy to find and our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Andrea had a good command of English. Having additional access to the museum and baptistry was a bonus.

Behind the scenes look at the secret passages with an incredible guide Martha who was phenomenal at delivering information. One of the best couple of hours I have done on a guided tour.
