Normandy for first-timers

It was great to find a tour that included two key sites in one day trip. Many available are one or the other and when you are travelling you often have limited time so finding a way to put them both together definitely was a highlight. Both tours were run by different tour guides, and the tour at the palace of Versailles was run by such an expert in the field it was fantastic to have someone so passionate showing us around. Tips for anyone taking this tour: - if you want to save money you can bring a packed lunch pretty easily as there is no designated meal time. That's at your own discretion - it starts early and we don't stop for your own time until midday so definitely eat breakfast beforehand or bring snacks - Monets house was packed so do that first before you even look at the gardens otherwise you may miss out - bring a hat if it is spring or summer especially - there is water available to purchase but bring your own - the location they drop you off afterwards is different to pickup and they didn't give us that location. It made it a little harder for us to return to our hotel after as it was further away and we didn't know. Not a deal breaker but don't plan anything afterwards to give you extra time to travel at the end

Mimi gave great information to us on the way to Giverny and Versailles, the ride was quick and smooth. You have a lot of free time at Claude Monet's house and a guided tour through the palace with free time to explore the gardens. Christina was our guide for the palace and incredible. Highly recommend!

Booking was easy, but I didn't realize that this company is just a broker for 3rd party tour companies. Paris City Vision actually delivered the tour. Pros: Overall it was a great experience. The times of arrival and departure were prompt and the bus was comfortable. Giverny was not too crowded and we had plenty of time. Lunch was at a Picturesque restaurant in a small village and was quite good. We enjoyed meeting other guests who were seated at our table during lunch. Our tour guide, Sandrine, was knowledgeable, friendly, kind and very patient Cons: Audio was very poor quality given the disposable headsets. Our guide was hard to understand due to a combination of poor audio quality and her accent. Versailles was very crowded, though clearly not a problem created by the tour company. Some tour participants refused to wear the headsets and never listened to the guides. They were always behind schedule and delayed our departure from Giverny and Versailles (again. not the tour operators fault, but frustrating nonetheless). Check-in was a bit off as the local representative didn't recognize our confirmation number and at first told us we must be with a different company. I insisted that she look up our names, and that solved the problem.

Fantastic tour with our guide Isobel and our driver Nadia. Lunch was reasonable and set in a lovely restaurant. Both Giverny and Versailles tours were amazing. Would have liked a bit more time in the Gardens at Versailles. Great value for money tour.

Your and guides were fantastic and very informative. Would definitely recommend to others. Whole day tour and worth every moment. Lunch was delicious and other tour passengers were nice.

The best part about this ticket is that you have priority entrance to all these places, which is awesome because you get to skip massive queues

My favorite part of this trip was the luxurious coach (LOL). And of course, the Claude Monet estate was a dream come true
