Rome for solo travellers

It was informative. Without a guide I would be lost. I loved the Vatican. Don't forget to post a letter from the Vatican Post Office when the guide is done.

I didn't give the maximum score because there was very little information about where to find the airport buses. On the other hand, once we found it, no worries, everything went very smoothly. Arrived as planned at the termini station, I recommend it.

Buon pomeriggio, avevo comprato online il biglietto per un orario preciso ma, essendo arrivata prima a Roma, ho chiesto se potevo comunque prendere lo shuttle bus della corsa precedente e mi è stato accordato con gentilezza e cortesia. Li ringrazio ampiamente per avermi fatto risparmiare ore di attesa.

First of all, thank you for this day. Even though it's over 600km from Rome, it was worth every effort. Seeing Pompeii is a highlight. Superbly preserved, you get a wonderful insight into Roman life. Via Appia Antica is an orphan compared to the roads here. The paintings are also very well preserved. The funniest thing we found was the 90 fast food stations for local residents. At first we were worried that we would only see a small corner in the two hours. But our local guide had a great route and we were able to see a lot. Vesuvius was much more stressful afterwards. You are chased up the mountain on a full stomach and have to be back down at a certain time. I can say one thing. We're not the least fit, but it was close. We were two minutes late. One criticism in passing. The restaurant for the toilet break is outrageously overpriced. From time to time the trip feels like a coffee run. But let's put that to one side, you can decide against it and not buy anything. The day was great and we would book it again and again.

We were able to get a relaxed overview of the city and the sights and were given interesting details by the audio guide. And we liked it a lot.

The bus is a good experience, explanations understandable and clear, the attendants on board and at each stop very kind.

We had a blast! The hosts helped us all get to know each other, told great tales and showed us fun places! We are absolutely doing it again!

it was first expirience with bus tour and we liked it, we have one day in Rome and that was the best solution to quickly look around and see main points and hear historical facts and information about the Rome. Castel Sant'Angelo is absolutly must to visit with its history and nice views from the top of the castel.
