I had already visited the Colosseum before, and this time I opted for the subway visit. Really impressive to be able to be in the lower levels and imagine everything that happened there. I recommend 100% this experience of the Colosseum subway. Colosseum

Two Thumbs up to the amazing guide Jason!! He is an art history professor at a local university with deep knowledge and US native which made the experience 100% worthwhile!! Best tour in our trip

The Colosseum Underground access itself was great, however the guide was late and a bit difficult to understand. He was very knowledgable though. We paid for the Colosseum Underground, Palatine Hill & Roman Forum Guided Tour which began at 2:40pm (the only time offered on our day).....but nowhere did it state that both the Palatine Hill and The Roman Forum would be CLOSED by the time the Colosseum tour was over so we'd have to go a different day! We were only in Rome for the day, so lost the opportunity to see those sights.....really disappointed.
