The tour itself and our guide were great. Good to have an option to visit as many places as possible if you're traveling for a short period of time. I would like to stay longer in Versailles though. Thecritical thing about the tour is that I had confusing information about 2 mewting points in my ticket. 2 agents from Headout confirmed the one that apparently was weong. Due to the Olympics, it was changed. But I connected with ith the tour organizers and ended up to the right direction. Otherwise I could miss the experience. It would be frustrating.

It was great to find a tour that included two key sites in one day trip. Many available are one or the other and when you are travelling you often have limited time so finding a way to put them both together definitely was a highlight. Both tours were run by different tour guides, and the tour at the palace of Versailles was run by such an expert in the field it was fantastic to have someone so passionate showing us around. Tips for anyone taking this tour: - if you want to save money you can bring a packed lunch pretty easily as there is no designated meal time. That's at your own discretion - it starts early and we don't stop for your own time until midday so definitely eat breakfast beforehand or bring snacks - Monets house was packed so do that first before you even look at the gardens otherwise you may miss out - bring a hat if it is spring or summer especially - there is water available to purchase but bring your own - the location they drop you off afterwards is different to pickup and they didn't give us that location. It made it a little harder for us to return to our hotel after as it was further away and we didn't know. Not a deal breaker but don't plan anything afterwards to give you extra time to travel at the end

Our guide for the Giverny tour did a wonderful job of explaining to us life and about Monet. The guide for Versailles palace was excellent in detailing nuances relating to royal chambers and halls and important paintings. The experience was worth the money.

Step aboard an air-conditioned bus and depart from the center of Paris towards Claude Monet’s former estate. Explore Claude Monet's pink-plastered house, where he lived and worked. Imagine what Monet’s day-to-day life was like as you stroll through the fully restored ivy-clad house. Make your way to the lush green gardens, one of Monet’s greatest inspirations for his world-famous artworks.

After exploring Monet’s tranquil estate, enjoy a lunch break. Savor lunch at “Moulin de Fourges,” a 2000-year-old mill and traditional French restaurant just 10 minutes outside of Giverny, where you can indulge in a delicious three-course meal (optional). You can also choose to embark on this tour with a small group of up to 15 guests.

Glam it up at Versailles

At Versailles, your skip-the-line tickets will allow you to bypass the long entry line, saving you up to 3 hours of standing in line. Once you have gained entry, enjoy a guided tour of the royal estate. Explore the King’s and Queen’s State Apartments, the Royal Chapel, and the Hall of Mirrors as you learn more about the French monarchy, including the private lives of the infamous King Louis XIV and Marie Antoinette. Head outdoors to admire the estate’s impressive architecture and explore the beautiful French gardens, decorated with the famous Versailles fountains. At the end of the tour, you can choose to linger at the estate or hop back on the coach to go back to Paris.
