You could skip the line. The crowds were horrible, so it was nice to get out of the rain quickly and into the facilities.

Our guide Erturk was soo informative and jovial! We had a brilliant experience! One of the best tours we've had in a very very long time! He was very knowledgeable about every artifact in the Vatican and the chapels. Would definitely recommend him as a tour guide! 5 stars all the way for Erturk! Very jovial fellow!

The tour was ok. It was annoying to insist we be there 30 minutes in advance and then tell people come back in 30 minutes. I understand some people get lost and show up late and miss the tour, but I am not sure why that problem is downloaded onto others. Plus when the tour involves a lot of standing and walking, making people stand still for an extra half hour doesn't help. The guide's English was poor, and that was the major detriment to the tour. Plus some of the focus of the talk wasn't helpful.
