The tour is worth the money. It’s not cheap compared to the standard admission price, but it’s absolutely worth it. Our experience was incredibly positive from the very beginning—starting with the text message from Massimo asking if we were having trouble finding the meeting spot, all the way to our guide Antonella, who masterfully led us through the various rooms of the Vatican Museums, providing us with lots of details and interesting facts and answering all our questions. Thanks to these tickets, we skipped the entire line and always had priority access. Highly recommended.

I intially had a morning tour and was bumped to the afternoon for unknown reasons explained to me. It was a fortunate that I did not have anything planned. The tour was good although at times it was hard to hear, even with the headsets, as it was very busy. The guide was knowledgeable, offered interesting facts, and had a good sense of humor. Nicely done.

Vatican City is truly an amazing experience, and our gudie did a great job of guiding us to points of interest (you'd need months or years to see everything). There is an incredible amount of artwork to be found, from sculptures and antiquities to frescos, tapestries, and paintings. Don't forget to look up... the artwork on the ceilings is stunning! The cistine chapel was the highlight (no photos allowed in there), and our guide pointed out some fascinating facts before we entered. Highly recommend.

The Vatican Museum galleries and the Sistine Chapel were stunning! And then there was the enormous St. Peter’s Basilica itself—wow! All those sculptures and paintings were truly amazing. Aiko, our guide, shared lots of interesting facts. It was great that our semi-private group could go straight through everything. Aiko herself is very friendly, knowledgeable, and she kept a close eye on the group. I’m so glad I took this tour. There was so much to see, I couldn’t take it all in. I highly recommend the Headoit tour!!

Your ticket has a designated entry time—please arrive at least 30 minutes in advance.

Sometimes guides are not allowed to give tours inside the St. Peter's Basilica. On such rare occasions, they will share a brief introduction outside and you'll be free to explore the basilica by yourself.

Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica are active places of worship, some areas may be subject to sudden closures without prior notice.

Expect a long wait at security, especially during peak times. Patience is key, it could take up to an hour!

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel, may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies or unforeseen circumstances. St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures. The closure of any museum section does not entitle visitors to any refund.

St. Peter’s Basilica may be closed on Wednesday mornings and afternoons due to the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square. If you’d like to attend, book an exclusive invitation with guaranteed seating.

Since the Jubilee is underway, access to St. Peter's Basilica is now restricted at all entrances. To ensure entry, reservations must be completed at least 5 days in advance.

Please note the special closures of the Sistine Chapel in January 2026:

3 January (Saturday): Closed from 2pm, with last admission at 1pm.

9 January (Friday): Closed all day.

10 January (Saturday): Closed from 1pm, with last admission at 12pm.

The Vatican Museums will remain open as usual on these dates.

Note: Michelangelo’s Last Judgement will undergo maintenance until March 2026. While the Sistine Chapel remains open, views of the fresco may be partially obstructed by scaffolding.
