Zooming in was very limited... Staff did not know how to access the additional information on the audio guide. Symbols like clay jugs or the fugitives are too small.

Everything fell into place. I appreciated online and no wait to let purchase in advance. The app worked well. Unfortunately, I couldn't stay that long. I'll be back.

a bit strange if you buy a ticket online, to have to go to a ticket office where the employee has to encode the reservation number as well as the family name ... fortunately there wasn't a line of 1,000 people in front of us that day!

The purchase of the ticket was easy, the price was somewhat high and I would have liked it to be delivered with a map/brochure explaining the ruins.

I was very surprised as I didn't think it was for me at all.But it was fantastic and a really good experience. I think the way you work with excavation is both exciting and respectful, and I really appreciate that. This is not the last time I visit Pompeii :-)

Deeply ingrained in myth and history, Pompeii dates back to nearly 2,000 years ago. An ancient site, the town was unearthed in 1748 AD after the infamous eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. What to bring

A moderate amount of walking is involved in this activity. Please wear comfortable shoes due to uneven terrain.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: No discourteous clothing or shirtless attire is allowed inside Pompeii Archaeological Park.
Big dogs (above the weight 10kg and the height of 40cm) are not allowed into the venue. Guide dogs with the proper certification are welcome.

Accessibility

This experience is partially accessible by wheelchair and pram/strollers.
Choose safety and comfort: This experience is not the best fit for people with impaired mobility and cardiac issues.
Tickets to the ruins are free of charge for disabled people and a companion, to be purchased directly on-site.

Facilities: cloakroom, luggage storage. Head to the Superiore Entrance to make use of the onsite luggage facilities.
The fee for the excavation sites of Pompeii is free for all first Sundays of the month.
