We love the hop-on hop-off feature to see whatever we want and get back on the bus anytime. Purchase tickets was easy online on my cell phone. I highly recommend it if you're trying to get familiar with a new city. After our visit on the bus, we went back and revisited places more in depth. I highly recommend they hop on hop off bus experience

The reason for the trip was to visit the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. We rode the "City Bus" several times on both circuits and then visited the one we found most interesting. We were only supposed to stay in Madrid for two days and then go on to Barcelona, but we ended up staying for five days and didn't manage to visit everything because Mardrid "Cerra a las 22:00h".
On the last day we went to visit the Civitas Metropolitano stadium by metro, where we received a phone call telling us that the hotel in the center of Salamanca was closing at 10pm. As we arrived at 10:30pm and despite having been warned, we banged our noses on the door and the receptionist said she couldn't wait a minute. The receptionist at the Hotel Ponte Romano **** (ele hoteles) helped us, and I asked him if we could stay one night. He adapted a room for 2 adults to 2 +1, which allowed us to stay in "una habitacion" on the 3rd floor, where we were bedridden like gods.

We chose a tour in French, and the guide, Eva, was perfect. Her commentaries were both erudite and accessible, with the anecdotes that make guided tours so special. If you're not keen on painting from the 17th to the 19th centuries, go ahead, she'll be sure to pique your interest.

The guide provided insightful commentary about the history, art and artists as we visited various galleries within the museum. Her remarks in English were very understandable and easy to hear with the whisper headsets our group wore during the 90-minute tour. Our guide readily answered questions during the tour. Being on the tour at the opening 10:00 am time of the Museum allowed us to avoid the long line for admission. The meeting place for the beginning of the tour was easy to find.
