The château itself is quite small but very well preserved and renovated. Each room is decorated and equipped as it was when Da Vinci lived there. The displays of his art and scientific discoveries are informative and well laid out. The gardens are great for a stroll around. The booking process with headout was easy and well priced.

Nous avons été captivé par l'histoire d'un personnage hors du commun. Le château raconte l'histoire de l'artiste, sa vie , ses œuvres, ses créations. Les jardins du château sont un terrain de jeux pour l'imagination de Léonard de Vinci et nous sommes admiratifs par le travail réalisé.

Nous avons adoré nous promener dans la maison où Leonard de Vinci dehambulait. Un jardin magnifique ainsi qu'un intérieur avec toute une partie de son œuvre. Merci

Visite intéressante , parc agréable à visiter . Dommage que la visite guidée soit en supplément , elle aurait été un plus pour la compréhension de la visite du chateau . Mais nous avons fait avec le petit guide très bien fait . En tout cas une visite à faire .

Déjà coutumier de la visite, c'était une revisite éclair avec mes petites filles, nous avons découvert le batiment d'exposition créé en 2021 qui n'éxistait pas lors des précédentes visites. Nous avons occulté les présentations nocturnes . Petit bémol, lors de l'achat des tickets sur le site du Clos, pas de réduction pour les étudiants, un peu surprenant, sinon la visite du chateau et du parc nous a ravis compte tenu de la chaleur.

The Clos Lucé Castle, formerly called Manoir du Cloux, is located in the center of Amboise, France. Built in 1941, this luxurious residence building has been passed on to several famous owners throughout history. While it stands in all its Renaissance glory, decorated royally on the inside, the castle is most popularly known for being Leonardo Da Vinci’s last home. With the invitation of Francis I, Da Vinci moved into the royal French residence in 1516 and went on to spend the last three years of his life here.

Besides a splendid collection of art and sculptures, the castle boasts a wide display of the Italian Maestro’s best inventions. You will be able to witness and take photos of architectural wonders such as The articulated glider, The Tank, The Catapult, The Mechanical Drum, and more. Learn all about his inspirations and his little secrets that you will only find out here, at your own pace!
