Teleferikle yukarı çıkmak ve kayak yapan tüm kayakçıları görmek eğlenceli bir deneyimdi. Yol boyunca ve özellikle de zirvede çok güzeldi. Teleferikten inip yukarıda dolaşmaya başladığımızda başımız döndü ve nefes almakta zorlandık. 50'li yaşlarımızdayız ve sağlıklı ve aktifiz, bu yüzden ne kadar kötü hissettiğimize şaşırdım. Yukarı çıkarken su içmeliydik, bu yardımcı olabilirdi. Bununla birlikte hala şiddetle tavsiye ediyoruz! Biraz pahalıydı ama bakım için çok masraflı olduğunu biliyorum. Yukarı çıkmaya çalışan tüm kayakçılarla birlikte beklemek için uzun bir kuyruğumuz vardı... yolumuza devam eden bir sığır sürüsü gibi hissettik... aşağı indiğimizde hiç sıra yoktu. Ayak uydurmaya devam etmezseniz asla sıranın önüne geçemezdiniz. Yoğunluk olduğunda hatları daha iyi organize etmeleri gerekiyor. Asla unutamayacağımız bir deneyimdi. Bu, 18 günlük Avrupa tatilimizi bitirmek için harika bir yoldu! Küçük Zermatt köyünü çok sevdik ve bir gün geri dönmeyi umuyoruz!

Deneyimin kendisi inanılmazdı. Bilet almak zorunda kaldığımız müşteri hizmetleri korkunçtu, bayan çok kaba ve düşmanca davrandı. Onun tavrının heyecanımızı azaltmasına izin vermediğimiz için çok mutluyum. Ayrıca, buz mağarasında nem/küf sorunu olduğunu düşünüyoruz? Orada bir şeylerin yolunda gitmediğine inanıyoruz çünkü kısa rampadan asansöre doğru yürürken alışılmadık bir şekilde nefes nefese kaldık ve aynı pozisyondaki diğer ziyaretçilere de şahit olduk.

Mükemmel bir havamız vardı. Güneşli ve sakindi. Teleferik bizi çevredeki dağların ve buzulların manzarasının çarpıcı olduğu 3883 m'ye çıkardı. Ayrıca, buzul tüneli ve buzdan heykeller çok ilginç ve güzel. Biletleri teleferik istasyonundan almak kolaydı.

The weather cleared just for that day, not enough to see Matterhorn but the it was fantastic. We are from northern Australia so to stand in a snowfall and go into a ice cave under a glacier, just out standing memories.

All Aboard the Zermatt Shuttle and Gornergrat Train

Start your adventure by hopping on the Zermatt shuttle train from Täsch, which runs every 20 minutes, and enjoy a comfortable ride to Zermatt. Once you arrive, make your way to the world’s highest 3S cable car, where your round-trip gondola ride to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise begins. As you ascend, take in the breathtaking views of 38 majestic peaks and 14 glaciers, with stops along the way that offer even more stunning vistas.

See the Swiss Alps from Gornergrat

When you reach the summit, step onto the viewing platform for an incredible panorama of the Matterhorn and surrounding mountains. Accessibility

The cable car is fully wheelchair accessible, while the shuttle and its stations offer partial accessibility for wheelchair users.

Additional information

Children 3 and under can’t ride the lifts between Trockener Steg and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
The General Abonnement and Swiss Travel Pass are valid, so you don’t need a ticket.
Half-Fare card holders and kids aged 6 to 15 get a 50% discount on the shuttle.
Children with a Junior Card and those under 6 don’t need a ticket for the shuttle.
Small dogs (up to 30 cm) can travel free in pet-friendly containers. Just make sure your dog is in the container before going through the turnstile. Larger dogs need a half-price ticket for the shuttle.
Your shuttle pass is valid for 30 days, but make sure to pick a shuttle date that matches the day of your Matterhorn cable car ride to arrive on time.
Your shuttle tickets are round-trip, requiring only a single booking. The return ticket can be used within 30 days of your selected travel date.
