The tour guide did a great job, but the itinerary planned does not allow for enough time at the venues. For something labeled at a Gorge du Verdon and Lavendar fields tour we spent 1 of the 10 hour trip at those stops... there was also not enough time to even enjoy walking around the 2 cities we stopped at and eat something proper. Would recommend they reduce the number of stops so you have more than 1 hour or less at each place. Could save time taking a more direct route to the gorge and making 1 city stop with enough time to eat.

Nice has a lot to explore for any traveler but this tour of its canyons, villages, and waterfalls is something you will love. Reason? You are going to see the countryside with a guide who will take you to the most gorgeous gems of the town.

As ‘Nice’ as it gets

When in France, you must visit its countryside to get a feel of how beautiful it truly is. From the ever-changing landscapes to its bright blue waters, there’s so much to see. Cross the “Gorge of the Wolf” best known for its offbeat path for hiking, cascading waterfalls, cliffs, and of course the mesmerizing 40-meter-high waterfall. Make your way to Castellane, a historic town that rests on the banks of Verdon. As you travel along the banks, you will see the 700-meter-deep canyon which will leave you speechless with its reflective azure waters.

Villages and fields of France

Once you are done admiring the canyon, head to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a village where ceramic art and earthenware are worth stopping by. Stop for a filling meal at one of the terrace cafes nestled between mountains if you wish Thought that was it? You'll be in for a surprise when the lavender fields spread out in every direction on your journey ahead. While here, you can also bask in the beauty of the artificial lake of St. Croix for its clear, blue water, making the end of your unforgettable trip.
