I love that many parts of the exhibition was interactive and visitors were welcome to rake photos, which in many museums is not possible. Also, the fact that it is very children friendly and the people working there are very kind and helpful. I was expecting it to be a bit bigger, but maybe that was only in my head. The air was a bit sticky inside, but nothing critical. I would recommend it to my friends.

Credavamo fosse molto più grande, è molto piccolo ed inoltre era pieno di gente, quindi per poter usufruire di alcune installazioni si doveva aspettare molto.

Es ist ein kleines überschaubares Museum mit netten Illusionen. Aufgrund der kleinen Größe und der großen Gruppe die hineingelassen wird (jeder der ansteht kommt hinein) kommt man garnicht dazu sich wirklich jede Illusionen mit Fotomöglichkeit anzuschauen. Für den Eintrittspreis hätte ich mir das Museum jedoch größer vorgestellt. Es gibt keinen Schnelleinlass auch wenn man das Ticket bereits vorab online gekauft hat.

Das Museum selbst ist , besonders für Kinder, sehr interessant. Aber -trotz online-ticket- ca 1 1/2 Stunden Wartezeit ist nicht akzeptabel. Wenn wir die Tickets nicht bereits bezahlt hätten, wären wir gegangen.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter:innen, die super Tipps für lustige Erinnerungsfotos geben. Sehr erstaunliche Erlebnisse, viele unterschiedliche Illusionen, eine tolle Zeit! Danke! Auch der gut sortierte Shop ist empfehlenswert! Es gibt viele Rätsel zum Mitnehmen.

Your Experience

Experience over 70 exhibition pieces that present you with unimagined perceptions. A galore of baffling puzzles, games and eye-deceiving experiences will trick your mind as well as train your brain. Make sure to bring along your cameras, as the museum provides plenty of opportunities to take photos and selfies that will astonish your friends.

Step into the rotating cylinder of the Vortex tunnel, that will make you feel as if you are spinning even as you stand on a completely stable surface. Take photos in seemingly impossible poses in the Upside Down Room, and trick your friends with a photo of the classic Head on the Platter illusion. Along with these, a plethora of illusions, games and puzzles that will simultaneously entertain you and trick your brain await you at the museum.

Catch Underground U3 to the Herrengasse station, which is just outside the museum.
Alternatively, you can catch Underground U1 or U3 to the Stephansplatz station, which is a 5-minute walk to the museum.
