In this adaptation of his classic work "King Lear", Leading an outstanding company, double Academy Award-winning legend Glenda Jackson returns to the stage to play the titular role, a quarter of a century after she gave up acting for politics. Written during a period of great social upheaval, this masterpiece is possibly one of the greatest tragedies ever written.
This play is a gender-blind adaptation of Shakespeare's classic tragedy. Directed by Deborah Warner and starring Jane Horrocks, Celia Imrie, and the formidable Glenda Jackson this is a production that should not be missed.
