Teleferikle yukarı çıkmak ve kayak yapan tüm kayakçıları görmek eğlenceli bir deneyimdi. Yol boyunca ve özellikle de zirvede çok güzeldi. Teleferikten inip yukarıda dolaşmaya başladığımızda başımız döndü ve nefes almakta zorlandık. 50'li yaşlarımızdayız ve sağlıklı ve aktifiz, bu yüzden ne kadar kötü hissettiğimize şaşırdım. Yukarı çıkarken su içmeliydik, bu yardımcı olabilirdi. Bununla birlikte hala şiddetle tavsiye ediyoruz! Biraz pahalıydı ama bakım için çok masraflı olduğunu biliyorum. Yukarı çıkmaya çalışan tüm kayakçılarla birlikte beklemek için uzun bir kuyruğumuz vardı... yolumuza devam eden bir sığır sürüsü gibi hissettik... aşağı indiğimizde hiç sıra yoktu. Benim önerim, kuyruklardan kaçınmak için öğlene kadar beklemeniz. Ayrıca kuyruklar biraz kaotikti... tonlarca insan herhangi bir düzen olmadan öne doğru ilerlemeye çalışıyor gibiydi. Ayak uydurmaya devam etmezseniz asla sıranın önüne geçemezdiniz. Yoğunluk olduğunda hatları daha iyi organize etmeleri gerekiyor. Asla unutamayacağımız bir deneyimdi. Bu, 18 günlük Avrupa tatilimizi bitirmek için harika bir yoldu! Küçük Zermatt köyünü çok sevdik ve bir gün geri dönmeyi umuyoruz!

Deneyimin kendisi inanılmazdı. Bilet almak zorunda kaldığımız müşteri hizmetleri korkunçtu, bayan çok kaba ve düşmanca davrandı. Onun tavrının heyecanımızı azaltmasına izin vermediğimiz için çok mutluyum. Ayrıca, buz mağarasında nem/küf sorunu olduğunu düşünüyoruz? Orada bir şeylerin yolunda gitmediğine inanıyoruz çünkü kısa rampadan asansöre doğru yürürken alışılmadık bir şekilde nefes nefese kaldık ve aynı pozisyondaki diğer ziyaretçilere de şahit olduk.

Mükemmel bir havamız vardı. Güneşli ve sakindi. Teleferik bizi çevredeki dağların ve buzulların manzarasının çarpıcı olduğu 3883 m'ye çıkardı. Ayrıca, buzul tüneli ve buzdan heykeller çok ilginç ve güzel. Biletleri teleferik istasyonundan almak kolaydı.

The weather cleared just for that day, not enough to see Matterhorn but the it was fantastic. We are from northern Australia so to stand in a snowfall and go into a ice cave under a glacier, just out standing memories.

Ride the cable car to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise

Begin your adventure at the Zermatt-Matterhorn valley station. In no time, get to Europe’s highest mountain station – the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise!

Pass through lush green meadows and enchanting forests as the landscape gradually transforms into impressive moraines and stones made of ice and glaciers, the Trockerner Steg. Here, get into the 3S cable car and transport yourself up the mountain where you can enjoy spectacular views and heated seats as you cross the Theodul Glacier.

On visiting the summit, go up the viewing platform. You will be awestruck by the 38 alpine giants of the French, Italian, and Swiss Alps. Once you reach the cinema lounge, you can watch movies based on mountaineering, the lift facilities, the local flora and fauna, and more.

Additional information:

Wear warm clothing as it tends to get pretty chilly at the top.
For health reasons (altitude sickness), children aged 3 and under are not transported on the installations between Tr. Steg and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
Access to crystal ride cabins with glass floors between Trockener Steg and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, is not included in this ticket.
