A variety of relevant activities are held throughout the year at the museum, including exhibits on geology, biology, anthropology, archeology, history, folklore, and arts and crafts. Modern and contemporary art influenced by Okinawan culture is showcased at the art museum, including oil and watercolor paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, and videos.

Guests who purchase Student tickets must display their student IDs prior to actually entering.
Students in junior high school aged 15 can purchase child tickets.
Students must bring along their official ID card to enter the museum.
