Wren'in oğlu tarafından katedralin ortasına yerleştirilen Latince "Sir Christopher Wren için bir mezar yazısı istiyorsanız, sadece etrafınıza bakın!" anlamına gelen sözleri çok sevdik. St Paul'un bir ibadet yeri olduğunu düşünmek ve Rab'bin Duası'nı ana dillerimizde birlikte söylemek için saat başı duraklamak çok güzeldi.

Ancak, masadaki beyefendi telefonuma bakmak, telefon biletlerimin üç farklı bölümünün fotoğrafını çekmek ve sonunda bizi kabul etmek zorunda kaldı. Biletsiz gelen dört aile bizden önce bilet satın almış ve içeri girmişti. Tekrar bilet satın almazdım. Daha yavaş bir süreç. 15 dakika sürdü ve biz zaten zaman sıkıntısı çekiyorduk.
