Pure artistic brilliance
Step into the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum and embark on a visual voyage spanning the 13th to the 20th century. Your experience begins with seamless entry—simply show your mobile ticket at the gate and walk into a 19th-century palace. Spread across three floors, the permanent collection offers an immersive journey through major art movements, from medieval religious works on the second floor to vibrant Impressionist and avant-garde masterpieces on the first floor. Iconic pieces like Van Gogh’s Les Vessenots in Auvers and Dürer’s Jesus Among the Doctors await, alongside works by Monet, Picasso, and Matisse. With over 1,600 artworks under one roof, this second-largest private collection in the world is a treasure trove of surprises.
