Disappointed! We chose the wrong day, it rained heavily and continously that day and we were soaked and couldn't enjoy much. Also some of the animals couldn't be seen as they hid under shelter. Be careful around noon as the animals could be taking their nap. Absolutely loved the Lion kingdom, they recreated mini Gujarat (state in India), that made our day. Butterfly paradise wasn't too good, there were very few butterflies. The giant caterpillars stole the thunder. Penguin show was great. Toilet is near the entrance and one near the tiny giants habitat. Please carry your umbrella or rain/wind sheater, we paid £18 just for the disposable ponchos (4 ponchos). Also wear comfortable shoes and carry light snacks and water bottle the zoo is huge.

Living the wild life

ZSL London Zoo is a destination full of animals and amusements, with over 300 species of animals to meet and thousands more surprising and fascinating facts just waiting to be discovered. Find yourself face-to-face with massive Asiatic lions and friendly giraffes whilst they enjoy a spot of lunch. Wander through the Madagascan shrub forest where you can get the chance to spot ring-tailed lemurs.

A jungle adventure

Experience the majestic beauty of wild and exotic animals from different parts of the world. The ZSL London Zoo offers a variety of exhibits that will allow you to gain some insights about myriad species. Visit the aquarium to see the fearsome piranhas and stingrays, and the Reptile House which houses crocodiles, rattlesnakes, and more. Check out the cute and playful penguins at Penguin Beach before heading to the Animal Adventure section where there's a petting area. Unleash your inner explorer with the saver pass! Access 1 or 2 additional attractions or tours for a personalized journey through London's diverse offerings.

What's not allowed

Bicycles, roller skates, rollerblades, and skateboards are not allowed on zoo premises.
Adult scooters are not allowed. Children's scooters are permitted as long as they are supervised by an adult.
Dogs are not allowed.
Re-entry is not permitted at London Zoo

Accessibility

Guide dogs are permitted under special conditions.
Most parts of the zoo are accessible to wheelchair users.
Audio described, BSL, and relaxed opening tours are available.

Additional information

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
The last admission is one hour before the advertised closing time.
Some animal exhibits may close up to 30 minutes before closing time.

Extra attraction pass

You can cancel your pass within 90 days of purchase and get a full refund if it hasn't been activated yet.
Some attractions require prior reservations. Please check the official websites to make a booking.
Validity: Your pass is activated as soon as you visit your 1st attraction and is then valid for entry to the number of attractions purchased over 60 days. The pass can be activated within 2 years from the date of purchase.
You can visit each attraction once.
