The holocaust is, without a doubt, one of the darkest horrors in the history of mankind, one that has left scars on many till today. While many of us have a broad understanding of what the Nazi regime was, this tour will help you gain deeper insights into the details of the Holocaust with a guided tour of the Treblinka Extermination Camp from Warsaw.
After being picked up by the driver from your hotel, you will take a one-hour journey to Warsaw while your guide spells out to you the history of the Warsaw Ghetto and the plight of the Jews in Poland before you reach the Umchlagplatz and the Ghetto Heroes Monument. Up next on your itinerary is the ill-famed Treblinka Extermination Camp for a tour of the Camp as well as the museum while learning about the tragedy that ensued there. At the Camp, hear stories about the attempted escape of 1943 and what the “Final Solution” entailed as you walk among the ruins of the camp.
Finally, before you head back to Warsaw, you will get to take a lunch break at a local restaurant where you can relish a warm meal with a main course and soup.
