All beautiful. And very clean despite so many visitors. Happy to see the living faith of the praying pilgrims alongside the many tourists.Yoko

If you strongly hope to see The Last Judgement, I recommend you book a ticket for early morning and go straight to Sistine chapel as soon as you enter the museum! When I arrived there around 9:30, it was not so crowded and I could feel relaxed while watching the painting. After 10:00 am, there were a lot of people in the chapel and it was hard to take time to see the painting. I'm so happy that I could finally see some masterpieces that I had dreamed to see since I was a high school student. I was so moved that I went back to see them several times while I was in the museum. At the end of the day I got exhausted as the museum was much larger than I expected. However it's worth visiting!Urgorry

Great experience. Easy to find meeting point. A tourguide took us to the Vatican Museums with no waiting in line. Just the safety check and you are off to go to one of the most beautiful Museums in the world.
Skip long queues at entry as a host escorts you to the Museums or wing it with direct entry. No matter your choice, you are in for an artistic ride spanning decades.
Marvel at renaissance artworks
The Vatican Museums are home to many classical sculptures, tapestries, and paintings by Renaissance greats such as Raphael, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Bernini, and Leonardo da Vinci. A section of the museum is also dedicated to Modern Religious Art.
Watch out for the only painting by Vincent Van Gogh that graces the Vatican Museums - his very own rendition of The Pieta. Drawing inspiration from Eugene Delacroix, this is the lone work Van Gogh made representing Jesus.
The iconic sections of the Vatican Museums that one should visit are the Raphael Rooms, the Gallery of Maps, the Sala Rotunda, the Gallery of Statues, and the Hall of Busts.
Admire the genius of Michelangelo at Sistine Chapel
Situated at the end of the Vatican Museums and neighboring St. Peter's Basilica is the famed Sistine Chapel. Originally built in the 15th century, its walls and ceilings have since been covered by some of the most astounding frescoes ever produced.
The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is especially renowned, animated with over 300 figures. Intricately painted by Michelangelo over 5 years in the 16th century, it is considered a cornerstone of Western art. The Last Judgement covers the wall behind the altar in the Sistine Chapel and is one of the most famous artworks worldwide.
