The visit to the museum was good. Only I think too many groups are allowed in. In some places they really block the view of wall paintings and such. Also, I don't really understand why our ticket can't be sent by mail if you don't have a guide. You lose a lot of time waiting and end up having to join an elle long line from the back. You are also not guided to the museum. That's why we didn't understand that we had to be there at 8 a.m. just to receive your entry ticket at 8:30 a.m..... Send it by mail and we can get in immediately.

We were in the 2pm group. The crowd was huge but fortunatly we got in first. The Museum and the chapel was beautiful and who can tell that drank beer in the Vatican (That was after the exhibition not during :) )

I purchased ol ticket skip the line and it was very convenient. Too bad that purchased the night before it cost 44.90 euros and the next morning 10.00 euros less...anyway wonderful experience for the masterpieces visited and seen, last but not least the Sistine Chapel.

Situated at the end of the Vatican Museums and neighboring St. Peter's Basilica is the famed Sistine Chapel. Originally built in the 15th century, its walls and ceilings have since been covered by some of the most astounding frescoes ever produced.

The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel is especially renowned, animated with over 300 figures. Intricately painted by Michelangelo over 5 years in the 16th century, it is considered a cornerstone of Western art. The Last Judgement covers the wall behind the altar in the Sistine Chapel and is one of the most famous artworks worldwide.

Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.
Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue.
