Singapore experiences a tropical climate and the temperature ranges from 25-33°C most times of the year. Visiting a water park with friends and family is the best way to beat the heat. Singapore's water parks such as Wild Wild Wet and Adventure Cove boast a thrilling variety of rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. There's no better way to escape the summer than by splashing around in cool water.
The various water parks in Singapore are:
  • Adventure Cove Waterpark Singapore Tickets - Adventure Cove Water Park has over twenty exhilarating water slides, ranging from gentle to extreme waves. It also contains four swimming pools (Seaduck Island - Aquatica Wave Pool; Sungei Bay Beach; Black Lake; Dolphin Lagoon) with shallow or deep sections for swimmers of all ages and abilities.
  • Wild Wild Wet Tickets - Wild Wild Wet is an outdoor attraction that boasts 25 water slides, wave pools, and other recreational activities. The indoor area features the Typhoon Bay wave pool, perfect for families with young children.
  • Port of Lost Wonder - The Port consists of 11 mini-zones that range from games to escape rooms and over 100 activities that are suitable for all age ranges, including families with young children.
  • Splash and Surf - Splash and Surf have three different locations around the island: Sentosa Island, East Coast Park, and Marina Barrage, which are home to activities including surfing, SUPing, or kayaking/canoeing.
  • Rainforest Kidzworld - Rainforest Kidzworld is an indoor theme park that consists of 3 levels connected by sky bridges, with each level portraying different Rainforest biomes ranging from South American Rainforest, African rainforests, and Southeast Asian Rainforests.
The top water parks that are best for kids are:
  • Rainforest Kidzworld: At Rainforest Kidzworld children have the opportunity to meet and interact with some of the rainforest animals, such as monkeys, snakes, and reptiles while they have fun with indoor activities. This is a great way for kids to learn about the rainforest in a fun and safe environment.
  • Splash and Surf: Splash and Surf is a great place for kids to cool off and have fun. This attraction features a variety of water slides, pools, and sprinklers.
  • Adventure Cove Waterpark: Adventure Cove Water Park is an aquatic amusement park with thrilling slides, water games, and colorful marine life that children would absolutely enjoy.
Most water parks in Singapore do not require skip-the-line tickets since the ticket booth does not take much time to get across and waiting lines are only long at the most popular rides in the park. Hence, it is recommended that you arrive during the early opening hours of the park to make the most of your time while the rides are less crowded. You can enjoy skip-the-line access with S.E.A Aquarium Singapore tickets.
Water parks in Singapore are some of the most affordable and entertaining activities to spend on. They only cost around S$26-38 per person and offer discounted tickets for toddlers and senior citizens.
The most budget friendly water parks are:
  • Wild Wild Wet - S$26
  • Adventure Cove Waterpark - S$38
  • Splash and Surf -  S$30
  • Rainforest Kidzworld - $39.60
Discounted ticket prices differ from water park to water park. Children and students with valid proof are offered reduced prices for selected water parks in Singapore. Additionally, Headout offers discounts up to 16% and cashback up to 5% on selected tickets.
The cancelation policy varies depending on the type of ticket you purchase. While some water park tickets in Singapore allow you to cancel up to 24, 48, or 72 hours before your scheduled visit, some of them cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
While some attractions such as Adventure Cove Waterpark entry tickets include variants with meals, most water park tickets do not. You can find numerous restaurants, cafes, and food trucks inside most water parks.
Wild Wild Wet is said to be the largest water park in Singapore with over 4 million visitors every year. It boasts 26 water slides, wave pools, and other recreational activities which are suitable for all ages.
Wild Wild Wet is known for its thrilling rides such as Freefall (Asia’s longest water slide), Torpedo (free-falling from 6 storeys high), and Vortex High Speed Slide (Singapore's first high-speed 360° extreme loop).
Here are a few factors you should consider before booking either Wild Wild Wet or Adventure Cove Waterpark:
  1. Location: While both waterparks are located on Sentosa Island, Wild Wild Wet is located in the far east of the island while Adventure Cove Waterpark is located in the west of the island, within Resorts World Sentosa. If you plan on exploring other attractions in Resorts World Sentosa such as Dolphin Island, Marine Life Park, or Universal Studios Singapore, you should pick Adventure Cove Waterpark.
  2. Rides & Attractions: If you want a typical water park experience with the best thrilling rides in the country, head to Wild Wild Wet. It boasts 26 water slides, wave pools, and other recreational activities that are most suitable for all ages and hence are family-friendly. If you want a more immersive experience with state-of-art technology and interactive rides, head to Adventure Cove Waterpark. You can ride on Southeast Asia's first hydro-magnetic roller coaster, snorkel through a colorful coral reef with 20,000 tropical fish, interact with dozens of rays, and much more.
  3. Price: Wild Wild Wet Tickets start at S$35 which provides 1-day access to all the rides and attractions, while Adventure Cove Waterpark Tickets start at S$33.49, after a 16% discount on Headout, which also includes 1-day access to all rides and attractions.  Adventure Cove Waterpark also offers a basic version of the ticket that includes a S$5 meal voucher.
  4. Dining Options: Resorts World Sentosa where Adventure Cove Waterpark is located, offers a diverse range of restaurants, and eateries in all corners that are easy to find. You also get a S$5 meal voucher with the basic variant of the Adventure Cove Waterpark tickets. Wild Wild Wet also has plenty of eateries within walking distance from the park such as Momma Kong's, The Line, Streats, and more.
  5. Adults vs Kids: While both water parks have plenty of rides that both adults and kids can enjoy, Wild Wild Wet is known for its thrilling rides such as Freefall (Asia’s longest water slide), Torpedo (free-falling from 6 storeys high), and Vortex High-Speed Slide (Singapore's first high-speed 360° extreme loop) which are more suitable for children over 12 years of age.
The best time to visit the water parks is during the early opening hours. The sun would not be scorching hot and you would have plenty of time to enjoy your favorite rides before the tourists flock in. Summers tend to get quite hot, so ideally visiting during pleasant climate, between November to March would be your best bet.
