Embark on a journey from Hobart to Launceston via the enchanting Wineglass Bay. Enjoy hassle-free transfers and the company of an expert guide on this small-group experience. Begin by traveling through scenic seaside towns including Orford and Swansea. Your first stop is Freycinet National Park – the oldest national park in Tasmania – known for its dreamy landscapes and clear blue waters. Head to the Wineglass Bay Lookout on a 45-min trek and look out at the unique wine glass or crescent shape in front of you.

You can extend your trek down to the beach where you can swim, relax, or grab lunch. If you prefer a shorter walk, explore Honeymoon Bay – a secluded and romantic beach cove – the rocky shorelines of Sleepy Bay, and the Cape Tourville Lighthouse along with the historic Lighthouse Keeper’s cottage.

Visit Devil’s Corner Winery

Your last stop is the Devil’s Corner winery, offering enthralling views of the Moulting Lagoon and the Freycinet Peninsula. Learn about intricate wine-making processes, overseen by seasoned vintners.   • Keep in mind that large bags are not allowed on this experience. Guests are allowed to bring 1 x day pack for the day and must ensure they can load and unload their own luggage onto the vehicle/vehicle trailer.

  • Safety is a priority. So, this experience is restricted for guests under the age of 7 years.

Additional information

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable and sturdy shoes such as runners, sneakers, or hiking boots as the walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout is a 3 kilometer loop and takes around 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Guests will have the opportunity to stop at a local bakery in a regional town enroute to the National Park to purchase lunch or snacks. Guests with special dietary requirements or other choices may bring their own food of choice.

  • The afternoon stop will be for 30 minutes at Devil’s Corner Winery where guests can enjoy fresh seafood & oysters from Freycinet Marine Farm along with wood-fired pizza, coffee, ice-creams, and wine tasting before driving towards Launceston.

  • Guests must have a good level of fitness and mobility to participate in this experience.
