Meet the rest of your group at your chosen pick-up point and get started on your Santorini wine tour. If you're a wine lover, this is your chance to sample some of Santorini's best wines at the finest wineries on the island. What's more, you will get to learn about the history and traditions of Santorinian wine-making!
At each winery (be it traditional or modern), you'll get to taste signature wines and discover a whole new way of drinking wine. At Koutsoyannopoulos Winery, which dates back to 1861, see important works of art by Greek and foreign artists. In order to continue its winemaking traditions, its grounds also include a modern winery offering renowned products of high quality.
Next up is Venetsanos Winery, home to breathtaking views over the caldera and volcanic islands. This family winery was built in 1947, and has unique architecture, a sun terrace, and a cafe. Your time here will give you a glimpse into the history and traditions of winemaking here, as well as the new techniques they use to make wine. Finally, your last stop for the day is Roussos, one of the oldest cellars in Santorini. The island's unique volcanic soil is perfect for growing Thiran, a particular grape variety that is used to create Roussos wines.
