Pro tips to help you make a pick

General admission tickets require selecting a specific time slot for entry. If you aren’t sure how your day will look, booking the Flexible Entry Ticket allows you to access the observation deck at a time of your choosing within operating hours.

Assistive listening devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis.Access and accessibility: Admission tickets grant access to various observation areas, but do not include the City Climb experience, which requires separate tickets and is available only for those aged 13 and older. Edge is fully wheelchair accessible, and service animals are permitted.

Keep some buffer time aside to accommodate for the long waiting times in queues, especially during peak hours and weekends when it can take up to 2 hours to enter. Visiting on weekdays in the morning during opening at 9am or early afternoon is recommended for shorter waits.

There is no time limit on how long you can stay at Edge; however, expect to spend at least 1-2 hours at the observation deck to fully enjoy the views and features.

If planning to catch the sunset, arrive at least 2 hours early due to high demand. Make sure to check daily sunset times before booking since it can vary between as early as 4:40pm on some days in January to as late as 8:30pm in June.

Carry a jacket when visiting the deck, as it can get quite chilly, especially during sunset time.

My wife and I are Uruguayan. Summit was Vicky's dream from day one. With tickets purchased in September 2025, she was already sure: "I want to experience Summit." We tried to get tickets from Uruguay, but it was impossible. We arrived in New York... and still couldn't. Until we finally could. On Thursday the 5th, at 12:30 AM, we were entering. And what we experienced there was one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives. You can see it in the smiles, the excitement, the shared joy. An impeccable place, attentive staff, designed for adults and children, with the unique magic of putting Manhattan at your feet. Summit is not visited: it is felt. It's a before and after. I congratulate those who made this incredible venture possible: they show NYC like no one else, they create jobs, and they make you leave with your heart and soul full. I am a cancer patient. And this place gave me more strength, more life than I had before. I laughed, I took pictures, I enjoyed myself... I lived. And I decided something else: to return. I will return with my children and my grandson. I will close the cycle of dreams fulfilled in life. What Vicky dreamed, I decree. Summit, we will see each other again. The Edge viewing area offered a different vantage point than Empire AND One World. It is very well staffed, there is no breakfast option up there, which would have been nice. Grest views on NJ, Mid Town, etc. MOMA is MOMA, one great exhibit after another....again, well/professionally staffed.

It was more than amazing. I loved the view from there. I could see most of the city from the height. It's wonderful for taking photos. Inside, there were also some extravagant places. It was a beautiful experience that I recommend.

I loved visiting The Edge, it has a very interesting immersive part. I loved the pink and yellow bananas. Going out to see the city from above was impressive, it leaves you speechless. We enjoyed it very much!
