Our guide Lori was absolutely amazing during this tour. She was enthusiastic and engaging. Her knowledge, detailed but not overwhelming. It was great to listen along to a story that provided context not only to the artwork/pieces on display, but also Michaelangelo personally and the kind of person he was, as well as a quick revision of Florence's history and other families/artists like the Medicis in an interesting way with fun facts. A well executed tour, timed well through the rooms and with plenty of time to analyse Michaelangelo's David up close and in detail. Highly recommended.Leigh

It really was such a great tour. I loved that it wasn't too long but fully packed rough inforntion about not only the David but the whole time period that made the experince of seeing it more satisfying. The guide was friendly and so open to questions a well as very knowledgeable.

Marie was a wonderful guide. She was so knowledgeable about all aspects of the museum. We learned some interesting facts about mideveal vs renaissance artworks, the dress and customs of ancient Florence, beautiful old musical instruments and especially learned about Michaelangelo's David. It was a fabulous tour. We highly recommend Marie.
