That the site that sells tickets accepts almost all credit cards--some little problem with foreign ones as if Italian banks were the center of the world--and that the staff is very attentive to the reduced mobility of visitors with some mobility impairment. The rest all ok

Loved the attraction, the audio guide however failed to work even though I downloaded the app and it worked at home. Should surely work without WiFi.

We very much enjoyed the castle but disappointed in headout. We were unable to find anyone from headout so did not have audio evwith the help of other employees. FYI orated the castle awesome , not headout which I found very disappointing

A chameleon-like castle with a rich backstory

Castel Sant’ Angelo or ‘castle of the holy angel’ is one of the most remarkable buildings in Italy. Initially built in the year 135AD as a mausoleum for the Roman emperor Hadrian, the monument served as a military building and a place of refuge for popes during the sieges in 1527. Explore the castle, which is now a National Museum, at your own pace. Opt for hosted entry and be escorted straight inside. Spiraling history

Split into five floors that connected by a spiral ramp, you will have access to the chamber of ashes, and the cells in which many historical figures were incarcerated. As you move towards the upper part of the castle, you will also see beautifully decorated rooms that acted as a Papal residence and an extensive collection of ancient weapons. Check out the large terrace on the top floor, where you can wrap up your experience with stunning, panoramic views of Rome.
