We had a very friendly guide who tried her best to explain everything. But the overal experience with lines, crowds, ... was terrible. Mass toursism at its worst.

Guide should have more unique umbrella. Because it was raining, everyone looked same (everybody had same black umbrella), so you can easily get lost.

Guide was friendly and knowledgeable, he engaged with the group. Group size wasn't too big. Great for getting the most out of the Colosseum as it's ridiculously crowded. Firm enough to keep the group together, but approachable too if you wanted to ask a question. Visit to the Forum & Palatine Hill was just as good, Francesco made sure everyone was together, could hear what he had to say, as well as take time to explore and enjoy the fascinating history.

Easy to book and we had a great guide who took us around the Colosseum and Forum. Skipping the queue was fantastic we got in quickly with no waiting. Our guide was very knowledgeable which made the experience much better, to understand the history gave us a greater appreciation of our time in Rome.
