Excellent facility to use public transportation in the city, the prices are quite comfortable and easy to book tourist sites to choose from using the card, I recommend it.

Very uniqe idea for short term visitors, allowing to use puplic transport, most of attractions with skip the line. Idea holders deservse big appalauce!

I loved how easy it was to use. Also, we were only able to get tickets to the coliseum because of the Roma Pass. Al the tours and tickets were sold out however the coliseum official website reserves a certain amount for Roma Pass members and release them the day of. We used the Roma Pass for the bus, metro, and sites.

We had big problem to change physical ticket via finging tourist i formatoon site at Roma Termini. It moved to Colosseum 5 years ago without exact notification to worldwide tourlists. Take this issues to headquarter in Rome. Bye.

We loved how easy it was to collect the passes. What's more, it's extremely practical as it includes one or two free visits (depending on whether it's a 48-hour or 72-hour pass) and free public transport (apart from the airport-train station link). No queuing, no stress ....

Exploring made easier with public transport

Navigate Rome effortlessly with access to the city’s extensive public transport network. Travel using the metro lines A, B, B1, and C, along with the railway lines Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo, and Roma-Giardinetti. Numerous bus routes cover central and suburban areas, making it easy to reach Rome's top attractions.

Seamless activation

  • Collect your Roma Pass at any Tourist Infopoint after purchasing online. Fill in your name, surname, and validation date on the overleaf form.

  • Your pass activates automatically when you first use it – either at a museum/site or on public transport. However, even if used at a museum/site first, you must validate the pass on your first public transport ride by tapping it on the black contactless reader.

Validity:

  • Activated: Once activated (upon first use), your pass is valid for 72 hours. This 72-hour period begins with your first use, whether at an attraction or on public transportation, as per the option selected.

  • Non-activated: Your Roma Pass is valid for six months from the purchase date.

What to bring

  • Carry a valid photo ID (such as an identity card, passport, or driving license) for verification purposes.

Additional information

  • Please note that making reservations will NOT activate your pass. Your pass is only activated when you visit your first attraction or use your first public transport.

  • Prior reservations are required to visit some attractions, which is subject to availability.

  • You can only visit each attraction once with this pass.

  • Specific details related to city card collection points and addresses will be shared with you post-booking.

Your email confirmation will be sent to you shortly with the Card Code. Your card has to be collected from one of the Tourist Info Points mentioned below:

  • Termini Tourist Information Area: Termini Station - Two desks in the Galleria Gommata, open every day between 10.00 - 18.00.

  • Tourist Infopoint San Paolo: Piazzale San Paolo, open every day between 8:30 - 18:00 (Closed from 18th to 27th February 2025 for maintenance work).

  • Tourist Infopoint Minghetti: Via Marco Minghetti (Via del Corso), open everyday between 9:30 to 19:00.

  • Tourist Infopoint Fori Imperiali: Via dei Fori Imperiali, open everyday between 9:30 to 19:00 (In july and august, it is open to the public between 9:30 to 20:00)

  • Tourist Infopoint Castel Sant'Angelo: Piazza Pia, open every day from 27 October 2024 to 30 March 2025 between 8:30 - 18:00 and from 31 March to 26 October 2025 between 9:30 - 19:00

  • Tourist Infopoint Auditorium Conciliazone: Via della Conciliazione no. 4 inside the Auditorium Conciliazione, open from 17 December 2024 to 31 December 2025 every day between 10:00 to 18:00

  • Tourist Infopoint Ciampino: International Arrivals, every day between 8:30 to 18:00

  • Tourist Infopoint Fiumicino: Leonardo Da Vinci Airport - International Arrivals - Terminal T3, every day between 8:30 to 20:00
