This tour was fantastic from start to finish—completely seamless, well-structured, and incredibly engaging. Everything was timed perfectly, so we got to really take in each site without feeling rushed. The communication was spot on, with clear instructions before and during the tour, making it all effortless. The real standout, though, was our guide—an actual archaeologist. Their depth of knowledge and passion for ancient Rome made the whole experience next level. They didn’t just recite facts; they told stories, explained the significance of what we were seeing, and made the ruins feel alive. Every minute was well spent, and nothing felt skimmed over or unnecessary. Standing on the arena floor of the Colosseum, walking through the Roman Forum, and taking in the views from Palatine Hill was already incredible, but having a true expert guide us through it all made it unforgettable. If you’re looking for a properly organized, informative, and engaging tour, this one is an absolute must

Our experience was a real trip back in time! As a history lover, listening to the passion with which our guide Bárbara spoke about all the history was undoubtedly a trip back in time. Visiting the Colosseum with a guide is a completely different experience, and if you add a guide who is also a historian and a defender of heritage, you have the perfect combination. I could listen to Barbara for hours! Thank you Bárbara for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it! It was worth every penny, which for me "spending" on history and culture is an investment for the soul.

A day in the life, gladiator-style

Walk past the crowds smoothly with your guide into the mighty Colosseum, ready to see and learn everything. The depth of its history embedded in the many-tiered structure is as vast as the monument itself. Watch out for goosebumps as you walk through the Gladiator Gate. Enter the Arena floor, which once hosted epic historical battles, and don't forget to greet the Arch of Constantine.

View the senator seats up close, from where the royalty entertained themselves to bloodthirsty quarrels. Peek down from the edge of the Arena's floor to discover chambers that once contained wild beasts and pathways the gladiators took. Walk through the entire circumference of the Colosseum, and try to picture it when 80,000 screaming Romans occupied it.

The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

Step away from the glory of the Colosseum to the Roman Forum, to discover the center of political and social life in Ancient Rome. Visit a vantage point with equally enriching views and history. Learn about it from your guide and take some time to explore it on your own. Next up, trek to the top of Palatine Hill for unparalleled views of the Forum and Circus Maximus.
