Vores besøg i Colosseum med adgang til arenaen, Forum Romanum og Palatinerhøjen var en uforglemmelig oplevelse takket være vores guide Rogelio. Hans dybe viden, passion for historie og indlevende måde at fortælle fakta på gjorde hvert hjørne levende. Han forklarede klart og tydeligt, besvarede alle vores spørgsmål og førte os tilbage i tiden med fascinerende anekdoter. Hans professionalisme og karisma gjorde turen unik, og vi vil uden tøven anbefale Rogelio til at opdage det gamle Roms storhed!

Denne tur var fantastisk fra start til slut - fuldstændig problemfri, velstruktureret og utrolig engagerende. Alt var timet perfekt, så vi fik virkelig set hvert sted uden at føle os pressede. Kommunikationen var perfekt med klare instruktioner før og under turen, hvilket gjorde det hele ubesværet. Det mest bemærkelsesværdige var dog vores guide - en rigtig arkæolog. Deres dybe viden og passion for det gamle Rom gjorde hele oplevelsen til noget helt særligt. De reciterede ikke bare fakta; de fortalte historier, forklarede betydningen af det, vi så, og fik ruinerne til at føles levende. Hvert minut var givet godt ud, og intet føltes overflødigt eller unødvendigt. At stå på arenagulvet i Colosseum, gå gennem Forum Romanum og nyde udsigten fra Palatinerhøjen var allerede utroligt, men at have en ægte ekspert til at guide os gennem det hele gjorde det uforglemmeligt. Hvis du leder efter en velorganiseret, informativ og engagerende tur, er denne et absolut must.

A day in the life, gladiator-style

Walk past the crowds smoothly with your guide into the mighty Colosseum, ready to see and learn everything. The depth of its history embedded in the many-tiered structure is as vast as the monument itself. Watch out for goosebumps as you walk through the Gladiator Gate. Enter the Arena floor, which once hosted epic historical battles, and don't forget to greet the Arch of Constantine.

View the senator seats up close, from where the royalty entertained themselves to bloodthirsty quarrels. Peek down from the edge of the Arena's floor to discover chambers that once contained wild beasts and pathways the gladiators took. Walk through the entire circumference of the Colosseum, and try to picture it when 80,000 screaming Romans occupied it.

The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

Step away from the glory of the Colosseum to the Roman Forum, to discover the center of political and social life in Ancient Rome. Visit a vantage point with equally enriching views and history. Learn about it from your guide and take some time to explore it on your own. Next up, trek to the top of Palatine Hill for unparalleled views of the Forum and Circus Maximus.
