The Story

Mamma Mía! The Musical has the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi as its backdrop. Sophie, a young bride-to-be, is at the centre of this romantic comedy. She doesn't know who her father is so, in a bid to find him in order to walk her down the aisle, Sophie invites 3 men to her wedding. Her suspected fathers are Sam, Bill and Harry, who had been her mother's lovers around the time she was conceived. Will she find her father? Go on a rollercoaster ride with your Mamma Mía! Excellent musical with a first class cast. The atmosphere was very entertaining. However the Rialto theater in the lower part has a large roofed segment, be careful when buying tickets in that sector (if I am not mistaken low stalls) the acoustics and visibility are distorted, it was really annoying and affected our experience, especially after paying 180 euros for 2 people!

Everything! Excellent singers and actors! The ambience, the ease of access. Magnificent experience😍 I'm from Mexico and now I'm back in my country and I will definitely return to Madrid to enjoy more theater!

The best thing for me was the music, the people in charge of the audio manage the perfect balance to always have the right volume in each number of the presentation. Also the sound of that theater has indisputable quality. The performance of the artists is incredible, the cast of dancers perfect !!!! And of course the musicians perform spectacularly as well as the choir ensemble that I also heard there. The only one who seems to me to lack a lot of singing is the groom (SKY) who with all due respect is intoned but totally lacks voice, and it seems to me that it is an important role in the play.

The performers, dancers and singers were super good and made their enjoyment of their performance palpable to the audience and conveyed their enthusiasm to the audience. The stage design was also very successful. I left the theater totally happy and exhilarated and went back to the hotel.
