We love sea animals. Everything related to zoo is perfect. Here are the downsides: You can't buy tickets from Oceanarium website for the same day visit. It's simply not possible to choose the same day. I had to go via another website, where you can't buy the tickets for the cable car. The photographers have made photos from me and my family, and we bought the photos for hefty 30eur (ticket for oceanarium is 25eur, and 1 minute work of a rather bad photographer is 30eur), but photos are extremely low quality. Print is bad (colors are unreal), and there's some weird effect to them, we can barely recognise ourselves. And that's a disappointment, it should have been a nice memory. Anyway, we're happy we visitedBeth

Beautiful castle. Lines inside were not awful, but we were there by 10:30. Lines to get in as we left about 11:15 were much longer. Enjoyed our visit. Worth the 5 E to take the bus up and down.Graham

This place was incredible. It is the best one in Europe. We visited all the others including the Deep in the UK and the Musee in Monaco. Ocianarium for the win. Mola mola was so cool. Love the no photos rule too. Makes people focus on the experience.
Lisboa's Oceánario
The Oceanário, Portugal's largest indoor aquarium is truly a must-see attraction in Lisbon. You’ll catch sight of a variety of marine creatures like big sharks, beautiful manta rays, jellyfish, puffins & much more. The main attraction here is sure to be the otters with their antics making you chuckle away at their adorable ways. You’ll see cute little penguins, octopuses & pretty corals, so get ready to click some amazing pictures. You will also learn how you can contribute to protecting the incredible marine life & about Oceánario’s commendable conservative programs making it a wholesome day full of excitement & learning.
National Palace of Pena
You’ll be awestruck by this architectural genius in Sintra, inspired by a mix of styles like Neo-Gothic & Neo-Renaissance. The impressive 19th - century yellow and red structure crowns the Sintra hills forming Lisbon’s stunning cultural landscape. Be sure to fully admire the intricate details within the palace like the Triton’s Terrace adorned with blue and white. There is an incredible marine and coral-inspired archway with a mythological sculpture of Triton, the Greek god of the Sea. You’ll notice lovely shells, conches & coral designs. From the Courtyard of Arches, you’ll be able to see all the way to the ocean through the walled row of ochre arches on a clear day. The views from the palace are absolutely breathtaking. The interiors have been remodeled to depict the Palace as it was when the Royal family departed in 1910. If you’re into history, you’ll simply love the artifacts in place.
The Park
The park in itself is full of mysteries with its lush forest and exotic plants from all over the world. A few noteworthy places that you must explore are The Valley of Lakes, The Queens Throne, The High Cross & The Queens Fern Valley. With everything built on Romanticism, walking through Sintra feels just like a fairy tale - a labyrinth of paths surrounded by thick foliage.
