Ahmed was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and patient with explaining every thing. He was also helpful by letting us know what to avoid and how to deal with the being approached by hawkers and vendors.

We had a fantastic tour and Ahmed, our guide is an archeologist, made our tour even better, prepared and a shield for the scammers. Rember that of you want to go into the Pyramids you must buy a separate ticket, even with headout option "all inclusive" who cover only the general entrances.

The buffet lunch was plentiful, well prepared and tasty. The waiting staff were attentive and efficient in bringing more drinks etc. Lunch included a bottle of water for each of us, if you wanted anything other than water then this has to be paid for. I had two sweet Turkish coffees and they very good.

The day was great. We saw lots of pyramids and our guide Reda, was super nice, he explained the history of the pyramids very well and repeated the information often enough so that we remembered the essential information. I highly recommend Reda, he was great. His driver, Ahmad, drove very well, he was careful and waited for us at the place of interest and on time every time. Nothing to complain about, the day was great and the best during our stay in Giza.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Sphinx

Another notable site is the Valley Temple which was used in the mummification of the pharaoh and his family, as well as the rituals associated with the pharaoh's afterlife. Move on to the Saqqara Necropolis where you'll see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, one of the oldest examples of large-scale stone architecture in ancient Egypt. Dahshur Pyramids

(Bent and Red Pyramids) Dahshur area is a royal necropolis located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile approximately 40 kms south of Cairo. It is known chiefly for several Pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best preserved in Egypt!
