All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the Uffizi entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.

The following are not allowed at Uffizi: flash photography, outside food and drink, drones, pets (with the exception of service animals with advance notice).

Note that the following are not allowed inside Accademia: large bags, beverages, tripod, flash photography, helmets, sharp objects, food or drinks.

Every first Sunday of the month, the Uffizi Gallery follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.

Note that the tickets allow you to skip the ticketing lines and not the security checks at Accademia.

Your host will escort you to the entrance but won’t act as a guide.

Allow at least 3 hours between entries to avoid delays. Book the Accademia first, then the Uffizi, as it takes longer.

Only guide dogs, service dogs, and certified therapy pets are allowed at Accademia, and children under 12 must be with an adult.
