The museum itself is memorable. The "accord" guys were great and very helpful. I recommend the wifi for downloading the audio guide as it is not an area covered much by the companies

So helpful the specific directions about going to door 3 of the Uffizi to get the paper tickets and then to door 2. Plus the mapping, although the link to the google map would never work properly on my iPhone despite me using google maps every day including today and for many years. But we knew to go to door 3, and that was more than enough. Three years ago I came here with tickets but couldn't figure which door with all of the lines because I didn't know I needed door 3.

Thankfully, your timed entry tickets prevent this hassle. A set number of visitors are allowed in at once, so you can skip the ticket line, trade your voucher for physical tickets, and swiftly enter. Despite some potential waiting, it's much quicker than the regular entry. After voucher exchange and security check, you can simply walk right in!

Then you are free to stay and explore the intricacies of the various compositions on display and marvel at the work of genius artists like Da Vinci, Raffaello, Masaccio, Cimabue, and Giotto. Visit the Botticelli room and admire the Birth of Venus and Primavera, two of the most famous examples of Italian Renaissance art. The following are not allowed in the venue: Flash photography, Outside food and drink, Drones, and Pets (except service animals with advance notice).

Additional information

Every first Sunday of the month, the museum follows normal opening hours and entry is free for everyone.
All visitors must leave umbrellas, large bags, and backpacks in the cloakroom located near the museum entrance. The use of the cloakroom is free.
Please note that all visitors to the museum must go through the security check. At the busiest times, the line for the check takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Children aged 18 years and under can enter the gallery for free. You can issue these tickets on the day of your visit, at the same desk where adults exchange their mobile vouchers.
